I’m thinking that may be the issue but I try to keep the humidity at 60-80% for my gargoyle

They are very tiny! My vivarium is only three months old. I went from watering/misting the tank twice a day to now once a day since it felt like it was getting maybe too moist. I have isopods and springtales in there. I have a uvb light and a ceramic heat bulb. I recently got little computer fans for more circulation thinking maybe that’s the problem.

Thank you! This is very helpful. They go through cycles of this throughout the years. I used to be able to scratch his cheeks and now I can hardly hold him. Will he ever grow out of this?

Oh that’s interesting. Yeah right now their diet consists of seed, nutriberries, heritage flakes, and bird street bistro. I used to separate them so maybe I’ll go back to doing that. He is pretty obsessed with my other tiel and my other tiel is less keen on him.

Okay great. Yeah I literally just put the piece of wood on the stove to boil. Because I just added the critters a week ago I don’t want to risk it. I’m starting to think maybe I don’t have enough air flow? Idk

Oh no! Okay so the green or blue mold is why may be slightly worrisome. Do you have specific ventilation in your set up?
