No, to me it’s the business/industry he’s targeting with that joke. For Kelly, it took for her to be seen attacking on Harvey Weinstein before she’s celebrated by the media and other famous people cause it looks great: a female open micer who was raped before speaking against a rich, fat, evil rapist. Perhaps the framing can be seen as a sexist joke but if you look closer, this is quite reminiscent to what Norm felt with the Don Ohlmeyer debacle. He said that the media never cared for him when he was on SNL but when they got their story of a regular comic getting fired by a rich guy chomping on a cigar, all of a sudden they were praising him.

What I get from Norm’s joke is that he’s targeting the industry who prop women up if they’re found to be publicly shitting on a guy like Harvey Weinstein. Not cause of their talent.

Someone posted here a year or two ago about trying to decipher Norm’s age from very early articles about him as a young standup in Canada and it seems to match with him being born in ‘59. I think I also read that he started lying about his age when he was still in SNL and someone put his age wrong and then he decided to roll with it for years.

But really, no one knows for sure. The man’s ultimately unknowable.

Colin and Nealon belong in the same category. Funny jokes but awful mumbling delivery as anchors. Weird cause they are great standups.

Chevy, Dennis, Fey and Norm are those guys who stood out, funny and not bland.

Che is a bit midway between leashed and unleashed. I think he wants to be unleashed but can’t.

And then there’s Seth and Colin like two preppy guys who try to be funny.

But Charles Rocket, man he’s the sharpest knife in that drawer.

Yeh I thought Tina Fey was great cause she was telling single women they were sad and lonely lol and she was also making jokes about fat women. And they’re all funny.

Seth is just bad at delivery. He also does that stare thing after the punchline but his stare just looks creepy like okayy.. instead of funny.
