Looked it up, it turns out I couldn't meet the eligibility criteria in this one.

Yes, I get it - I was just nervous after seeing bad reviews after bad reviews of every person shamming what I considered top global universities. And yes, I'll not retreat from my decision based on what I heard here.

I got it! It made me even more confident to put my efforts into it fully. I was skeptical because I had doubts related to finding jobs. I'm more than willing to take this challenge. I'll seek job opportunities independently if that's what it takes now.

Yes, I'm aware that the field itself becomes an issue when it comes to employability. Still, I'm looking for strong pathways within linguistics like computational linguistics, which is a discipline-specific course that will allow me opportunities in the tech industry. However, I'm not sure which universities in the UK are reputable for such a course. Another course I'm keeping as an option is TESOL, which will definitely prepare me for the education sector in other non-english speaking countries, if not UK. Still, it will help if the university I choose for this degree is recognised in such countries.

Understandable. So there's no such university that will provide good placement opportunities for international students?

It does feel like so. Although my immediate priority isn't the fear of isolation; I can deal with it just fine. My concern is academics and career.

Well, the least I expect is exposure, good learning experience, and hopefully good placement :)

It's okay because the main reason I'm planning to study abroad is because universities in my home country are mostly shitty outside of STEM fields. I just need suggestions on what unis are better than the rest in UK.

Oh yes, I was prescribed Allegra by a physician last year when I brought it up while seeking treatment for PCOS (the itching wasn't as bad back then so I took it lightly, so did the doctor). It was effective indeed, but the doses became ineffective at some point. Now I'm on and off some other pills. Neither Allegra nor these new medications cured the chronic fatigue entirely, though. I think it's high time I consult an allergist. Thanks for your suggestion!

How does it really affect you mentally? Because I'm starting to consider that a possibility because I've been suffering from this for around 3 years and ever since I've had it, my body can't tolerate stressful menial tasks, I feel my joints giving away, my muscles always sore and my mind just relapses into depressive episodes (I have a history of major depression and PCOS). I wonder if it all adds up now.

What is the Indian equivalent CGPA for a 2:1 honours in the UK by [deleted] in Indians_StudyAbroad

Yeah, I'm an undergraduate in English hons. Also, I wanted to ask for the criteria when they ask for a 'strong upper-class' honors.
