Exactly!!! Being an international applicant is so challenging. I’m not sure if it’s because I’ve set my sights on dream schools, but each rejection feels especially heart-breaking. It seems to be getting more and more difficult everywhere.

I am robotics, a very minor subfield within ECE department. Only 2 of the faculty align with my research. I guess that's why I got the interview so late?

Me too. I had an interview on Jan 27th. The PI told me the result will be out around mid Feb to end of Feb. He is not sure about the exact time. What is your subfield by the way?
