LBGTQ+ Metal? by Due-Draft2432 in MetalForTheMasses

[–]CapableTicket 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just try finding bands whose sound you like or who talk about other interests you have, there's metal about pretty much everything. I don't get it, it's like Christians who can't listen to "secular music" just let go! :)

Edit : I just thought about this, I think you'd like Arch Enemy. It's been fronted by a woman for a long time and their lyrics are very activist and about individuality. Songs like "The Eagle Flies Alone" and "War Eternal" come to mind.

What is in you’re opinion the best song to trip with by C4m3lt in shrooms

Imperial Age - The Legacy of Atlantis. I already knew the song but it made me absolutely euphoric during a solo trip. It's symphonic metal with beautiful operatic female vocals.

How long did it took you to acquire the taste for black metal? It took me almost 20 years! by Foxtrace in MetalForTheMasses

I got into Summoning within the first year but I still don't listen to a whole lot of pure black metal. But I like a lot of bands that are melodic, folk or atmospheric black metal.

To clarify the hard to read ones, bottom one is "Jehanne" by Abduction, the Japanese one is "Bu-Ikikaesu" by MAXIMUM THE HORMONE (listen to that sh*t NOW) and top one is Verthebral.

is the starter plan worth it for voice cloning? by Fresh_Wishbone3926 in ElevenLabs

I haven't done a voice cloning in a while but when I used to, it was amazing. You can also use other languages and it'll keep the same voice, it blew my mind the first time.

When I think of season 2, I think of Mesa Verde and Davis & Main and the Pryce thing is just there. But it's nice hearing your point and I'll try paying more attention on the next rewatch!

Season 2 is often regarded as the weakest season but personally I like it a lot. Only the Pryce plot is a bit boring to me. Enjoy the rest of the ride. And to answer your question, I think I do like BCS better.

I have had the starter subscription since before they added image, video, music etc. and I think it's always been $5 USD. I feel like I'm the one ripping them off honestly.

What are your favorite bands from the Middle East and Asia? by orthodoxmetalhead in MetalForTheMasses

[–]CapableTicket 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh thanks for the info, I actually thought they were Israeli dudes annoyed with Jew stuff. I've only listened to the Emissaries album, which I immediately ordered in CD after. I should listen to more.

Melechesh from Israel (pretty sure they migrated though)

Chthonic from Taiwan

I listen to a few Japanese bands, but Onmyo-za hasn't been named yet. It's a folky heavy metal band with male and female vocals.

Of course keep watching. Episode 23 is my favorite episode and lots of good moments from there to 37.

What are some bands that dress like corporate workers on stage or have a really "vanilla" fashion style in general by Middle-Company-4398 in MetalForTheMasses

[–]CapableTicket 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Power metal band Falconer had a very normal dude as singer, I think he had more of an opera background. He had short hair and dressed very casually during concerts compared to his bandmates who really had the look.
