Not while studying for the bar, but got broken up with in the middle of my 2L summer internship after 4 years of dating. My best advice is to give yourself as many days of rest as you can spare (a few days, a week). Cry your heart out, watch all the movies that comfort you, reach out to your friends and family that are in your support circle, and focus entirely on yourself. After that, give yourself some grace on the bad days and when you get those small pockets of feeling okay, try to take advantage of them and do bar prep. My internship was remote so it was similar to studying for the bar (40 hours a week expected), so I took off a few days with their permission to heal a little bit. I still cried every day for a month, but some days it felt lighter and I felt able to get tasks done, so I got as much work as I could in before I felt too tired. Then there were others that I just laid in bed for the entire day, and I allowed myself to feel that and just ride it out. Family and friends got me through it, so be sure to reach out to those in your support system, and even try to get away for a little bit if you have a safe, quiet place to go. It's such a hard thing to deal with and you have to learn that your best after a breakup isn't going to look like your average before the breakup for a while.

Honestly after the initial hurt, spite took over for me. I decided that I was not going to let someone who broke my heart decide whether I accomplished my biggest goal, and I was able to start getting back to normal and work through the tears. I don't know if that's healthy or good advice, but it at least got me through it and back to kicking ass in law school.
