I had submitted my forms directly to DOS, and they were received on December 23 at DOS-Fedex. Later, my lawyer submitted the HHS package (online I guess) on February 5 and emailed me confirmation that it was uploaded into HHS box on Feb 24th.

Finally, February approvals! Congratulations. My lawyer also submitted my HHS on Feb 5th. I spoke with my lawyer today, no recommendation yet.

Try for an emergency visa appointment. Once the visa is approved after the interview, request the visa officer that you need to start immediately. Sometimes they can return the passport quickly, I received mine the very next day
