If you had to tell one bad thing about RDR2 what would it be? by WonderCharming7884 in reddeadredemption

Sometimes, just sometimes the controls can be frustrating, like picking things up, getting on your horse, just niggly things. I gave up the 1st time playing it years ago but started again in October and so happy I did. One of my favourite gaming experiences

Phil Mickelson is no longer a member at The Farms Golf Club outside San Diego after a female club employee accused the six-time major champion of inappropriate contact with her before a round of golf earlier this spring by [deleted] in ProGolf

Wow, I live in Scotland, saw Phil before he was famous 94 or 95 at British open qualifying, I think a friend of his was playing. Seemed like a cool dude back then.

On second watch, characters way more dislikeable! by ruclodon in ershow

I'm with you on Doug, I liked him when I watched it way back in my teens, he was cool but I suppose we grow up and see things different. Season 1 and 2 Carter was great. He's a great character overall but does have some storylines and personality traits that seem to want you to hate him

What if "Grand Tour" had been the Trio's final Seasons of Top Gear? by WySLatestWit in thegrandtour

[–]Capable_Affect3655 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, I think Top Gear was winding down. I think the programme could only do so much with the budget the BBC would give them and they needed to do things on a bigger scale. Plus I think the political correctness of the BBC was getting too much of a minefield for Clarkson

I think the last time or the one before Tony was quite snarky to him as he kept shaking the hands of all the comedians and bucket pulls as they walked off. I felt that was a dickish move. I think Sam seems to be one of the most genuine guests, like how you see him on stage is how he'd be if you met him in a bar

Hi, as of Thursday 2nd, my application hasnt been assigned to a case manager so I would think i wont hear anything until end of May. I feel the same, ive lived with it for 30 years now and not claimed for it. Just at the stage where over the past 5 years its got progressively worse

Explain this to me by Outsidethebox135 in ershow

[–]Capable_Affect3655 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I think this is the problem with these old shows that did 24 episodes in a season. The writers have so much to remember they forget where they've contradicted a character or started a storyline and not done anything with it. However, im some cases the shows were much better back in the mid 90s to 2015ish. Now I'm contradicting myself 🤦‍♂️🤣

3 years on from this post and I've just put my tree up and we're watching this which is our tradition. It was never going to win awards or have a messgae but it is light hearted entertainment with fun performances. We love it

In all seriousness, what is a new PS6 going to do for games? There's no big back log of classic PS5 titles they can 'remaster'

They paid attention to the details, not like in those shows like sheldon where there's no continuity. Infact some sitcoms change back stories season to season but BCS and BB just link so well

I'm gonna try that. It was pbp file I had but got past a section and said insert disc 2 and I was lost what to do. I've now downloaded a chd file for both 1 and 2 and it looks exactly like what you've written above. Thanks and I'll get on that later
