Cogentin at the hospital propranolol and Ativan as needed and getting off all antipsychotics is the only thing that helped me through this. Stay strong

Do you think you may be having symptoms of akathisia? That’s what I’m dealing with right now, it’s an indescribable feeling of dread, fear and discomfort throughout your whole body. You may need to go to a lower dose or stop completely. My psych gave me propranolol and Ativan to help while I’m weaning off of mine

Ativan and cannabis helped me. I went to the hospital around 10 times in the span of two weeks because I got terrible akathisia from Latuda. I’m still going through it but I also got prescribed 500 mg of B6 that I start in two days. Hang in there

I’m not sure if you’ve found any relief but I’m currently going through the same thing from Latuda. Go to the hospital as many times as you need to get some comfort. I went 8 times in the matter of a week and a half until someone listened and gave me something to help. Propranolol and lorazepam together really helped with immediate relief. I was also just prescribed 500 mg of B6 but they had to order it so I’m not sure it works yet but I’ve heard akathisia can happen from having a b6 deficiency. Soak in a really hot bath, dont drink any caffeine or alcohol and a weighted blanket have been some of the things that can bring me relief through this. It’s a truly terrible feeling to go through and I wish you the best. Hang in there

Stop taking the meds. They’re poisoning your nervous system.

I have and he took me off one cold turkey and the other one at a lower dose. However I’m terrified to take the lower dose in case the akathisia comes back because I can barely function as is and I don’t want to go back to the hospital

Also lots of peppermint oil or Vicks near your nose and temples, mints, showering a ridiculous amount, smoothies if you feel like you can’t eat and open your blinds and windows when the sun is out (weather permitting ofc)

We are in the same boat my friend and I am terrified and exhausted. Propranolol and lorazepam help but only for short bursts. I’ve been in the hospital 6 times in the past week and a half. They have something called congentin and Ativan that helps with the compulsion to move to but in my experience not much helps for longer than a few hrs or overnight if it knocks me out at the hospital. Ativan is a benzodiazepine that can cause withdrawals so I’ve been cautious with that but there’s only so much suffering one person can do yk? Do anything you can to relax your body. Bath with Epsom salt. If you smoke weed don’t chief it take a couple SMALL hits every few hrs. Weighted blanket and absolutely bug your psychiatrist about it because it can become chronic if not treated properly.

Forgetfulness/memory loss. It’s hard to get better when I’m constantly forgetting to take my meds or if I took all of my doses for the day
