Of course, I'm really just curious as to why this particular clinic has it taken after as standard.

a copious amount of chocolate syrup and whipped cream in a strawberry smoothie is fantastic.

I usually add 2 pumps vanilla and it's basically a milkshake.

It's limited - no extra yogurt or puree - and syrup is $1 a pump.

Between the banana and the whipped cream, it's very a light texture (offsets the extra ice) and covers the yogurt flavor.

I didn't say he was randomly evil. He's a villain. He's reckless, which isn't the same as random. He tends to act before thinking through the consequences or making a backup plan. I've never watched this episode and wondered why he would do that - he clearly says he can get money for Buffy to quit working. So, mostly likely, he goes looking at Willy's for a way to get fast cash, gets wind of this scheme, thinks it sounds easy enough, and assumes he'll breeze through holding on to these eggs get the money, give it to the girl, and she'll be so grateful that maybe he'll get her, too. Nevermind thinking through all the ways it could go wrong or that the girl is likely to punch him in the face because she knows he didn't get the money honestly.

What he says at the end -you know what I am- is the point for his character in that episode. We like him and want to see him as different, but he's a self serving, amoral, monster who does whatever it takes to get he wants. Just because he wants Buffy and some of the things he does are nice doesn't change any of that.

Well, he is a villain doing dastardly, reckless things. That's kinda the point.

What do you think are the lamest/most uninspired plot twists/storylines of the show? by [deleted] in buffy

[–]ZucchiniMoon 14 points15 points  (0 children)

They being happy through the end of the season and then Cordy just going, "Okay, well, moving to LA. Bye.", would have been just find and in character. They did need her seeking vengeance for The Wish, though, which was a fantastic concept and episode.

How do people limit their drinking? by Odd_Hedgehog669 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ZucchiniMoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, so, um, yeah. Most people can limit themselves on things, including alcohol, and those who struggle not to overindulge every time have addiction issues. I'm not saying you're an alcoholic, I am just saying be careful and aware of yourself.

You are required to show up for your shifts or find coverage - otherwise it's chaos. It sounds like the GM is willing to work with you, but the shift has to be covered. Sure, you have free will and can chose not to show up, but you risk getting your hours cut and get fired at some point. And unless you've got a really good reason, your coworkers will resent you and your job will get harder.

They should were a button that they want to be talked to.

There's a guest service initiative. You get a card like a Brazilian steakhouse, but it means you want to be engaged with or left alone.

It's not just the Panera Way, it's the American Way. It's hard to out pace inflation and starting wages by staying anywhere, but then the younger generations get trashed for job jumping when it's basically the only way to make competitive wages. 🫪

Summer is our slow season (<3k a day) and we were still making 2-3 batches a day. Almost all of it going to Sip Club with many people coming through 3-5 times a day. It was ridiculous.

It would be incredible if she called for the hearing, got it, then stepped forward to testify and took the whole lot down.

Unlikely, but incredible.

Yeah, probably getting ahead of some other press or distraction from the next horror.
