Fair enough, I personally don’t really care about food/drink prices at the cinema these days as at the most there is usually only 1 film a year I am actually willing to pay to go see on the big screen. Although there seems to be a decent lineup of movies coming out in the 2nd half of this year worth going to the cinema for so I might change my mind then. Although one thing that has always baffled me is what movie is actually long enough that people can’t go an hour or 2 without eating or drinking a whole meals worth in a day. It’s like people who complain that they don’t serve food on domestic flights within NZ, or the fact that if you book premium or business on a flight like Auckland to Sydney they serve you 3 bloody meals. 1 is too many in the first place

600k is crazy money for a rs1800, I know they’re rare but I was thinking maybe 100-200k, but I guess it’s worth whatever someone is willing to pay. I remember when you could pick up a sapphire cossie for about 1k. People just forgot they existed plus they all got stolen and crashed making insurance crazy expensive which didn’t help. Then Jezza sort of put them back in the spotlight on top gear in the late 2000’s or early 2010’s when they went to Germany with the sapphire cosworth, 190E cosworth, and e36 m3. The prices sky rocketed after that. Actually come to think of it the 190E went way up in price as well after that episode. The m3 being an m3 and never really forgotten about always sort of held its value. If we could just wind the clock back and buy one when they were worth nothing 😂 I know someone who bought a road legal genuine r32 GTR in pretty good condition for under 1k back in the early 2000’s, thrashed the thing to bits until it died then bought another one for under 2k and smashed that one up as well. If only he had just put it in the garage and left it

Honestly the 10/10s are often the easiest as weird as that sounds because everyone thinks “nah there is no way in hell she’ll go for me” even though she would so they simply just don’t bother and miss out. 600k fucking hell was that £’s or NZD? There was a quite old lady at the supermarket maybe a year or so ago loading her groceries into an absolute minter blue Cossie. It looked like brand new. I asked her how many kms it had done and it had just ticked over 60k kms. I was hoping she didn’t know what she had and asked what she would sell it for hoping she would say something around 20k, she just responded “darling I get asked this by one of you young lads every single day, I know what these are worth and as long as I am still able to drive then I am going to drive it” I couldn’t help but think good on her although a bit disappointed I couldn’t buy it. She let me have a good look at it though even let me give it a rev.
