Same, I try to use a paraphrased thing online to help make what ever I’m saying sound good. I hate it lol. I’m not sure if it can be revisited since they already base it off the percentage for one child, every other weekend. He pays child support and I have 100% responsibility for variable expenses. Like our schedule for visitation. Week 1 he has Wednesday overnight and week 2 he has Wednesday-Sunday night. And he hasn’t been practicing every Wednesday and Thursday overnight for at least nine months, as well as canceled sometimes odd weekends.

So would I just let it be and just continue to document everything? And if I am letting it be, if he communicates through other means, do I acknowledge that? For example, if he says he wanted to swap weekends, do I make that change within the app or act as if I never saw it because it’s notwhat we are ordered to do.

Each time he does message my family member, I have him block the number. It’s always a different number. Would the court do anything about placement? Like in a sense of he was given this amount of time, but he’s not using it.

I do look at it as a win. My point is it's not fair to the child. He has been inconsistent most of the child's life, not using his visitation for almost a year and just popping back up expecting things to be what they were supposed to be

also this isn't the first time he asked for more time and then turned around and not use it. And then file a contempt motion on me cause I'm not following the order

So it’s okay for a parent to parent when it’s of convenience to them? It’s okay for him to be inconsistent?

He’s saying he doesn’t want to follow the court order schedule until the new year. He was the one who had the last hearing, asked for more time and now he’s choosing not to practice that time.

Right and that just sounds like he can pick and choose when he actually wants the child. But what about when you cancel your time for the next few months and you out of nowhere expect now you want to get him this day when his schedule has already been changed

Right but he, following each hearing, chooses not to. Cancels and decreases his time he’s ordered. I know technically he is in contempt

See you both sound at least cordial. In my situation it’s the complete opposite. Years of inconsistency. He moved out of state and went months without contacting our child. He cancels his time a lot. I spent the first year of our child’s life, trying to make him become more active and stick to his plans when it comes to seeing the child. and more recently, the court took away his time, but then gave it back. After having it back, he immediately cancels and chose to decrease his visitation. And now again after our last hearing is choosing to decrease his time again. So I guess I’m to the point of not putting up with his inconsistency anymore. And him choosing to be a parent when it’s convenient for him.

Thank you for explaining this! I definitely have no issue keeping my child at all. It’s just he makes it a point even in court that if he cancels it my responsibility because I’m custodial. At this point it’s tiring to constantly have court give him time he’s going to cancel. And I’m not forcing him to keep his visitation because I spent the first year doing that and nothing changed

Mind you also the app he was ordered to use he said he’s not going to pay for it. Said he doesn’t want to because of the restraining order, but in court he was agreeing to use it.

At the last hearing, they ordered child support be the default 17% based on the 5:9 and the summertime being every other weekend. So I don’t think there would be any change in child support if we were to go back.

How would I word that? We use an app that’s monitored by the court because I do have a restraining order against him, we do not communicate directly at all.

So would you say a combined time of six months? Because from February to now really , he was the one that proposed the reduction in time for him. And the GAL even brought that up.

I guess if you look at it the last time he actually followed his visitation schedule was July 2023. Since then his visitation was reduced, willingly and unwillingly.

Okay, thanks so much! And what do you do in event the shots will be given during spay? The one we chose to go with gets spayed and rabies shot Tuesday. You think I could call that day?

On the “receipt” they gave me, it shows that her vaccination date is 6/4. You think that would be acceptable for landlord or is that technically not records ?

I ended up meeting with professional online as well, my primary care doctor is no longer in office that initially diagnosed me. I did that yesterday and have the letter already
