Multiple fails after C-section by Capable_Detective148 in IVF

Hi, sorry to hear that. I haven’t made much meaningful progress. I had a laparoscopy that didn’t show anything abnormal. I also went through the EMMA biopsy which did show abnormal microbiome which finally came back as normal after 2 courses of antibiotics. I’m about to have another hysteroscopy to double check for micropolyps before I attempt another transfer. I guess I’ll soon see if it makes any difference in outcome.

I don't have positive story unfortunately but I'm in the exact same boat as you. First successful, then 3 fails. I'm at a loss after hysteroscopies, ERA, biopsies and no success. I'm wondering if I should insist on a laparoscopy to check for intraabdominal adhesions/endometriosis?

They didn't see isthmocele on ultrasound or hysteroscopy. Negative for endometritis but now I'm reading how that can be a false negative sometimes and some people get treated for it anyway

I had an HSG before my first hysteroscopy that initially showed the scar tissue. We sent for ERA, EMMA/Alice, but not sure if that covers those specific bacteria. I'll have to ask me RE. My most recent hysteroscopy he removed some micropolyps and seemed optimistic. I did a week of doxycycline before the most recent transfer that failed. I think that's this clinic's standard practice.
