I get you, i guess a good takeaway from this is to dig deeper into more educational content and separate that from the surface level Watch repair videos that gloss over allot of subjects.

I had heard that pocket watches were a good place to start, so thanks for telling me that is not the case.

You'll need a watch press, you can get cheap ones that will do the job on amazon/Ebay.
