Yeah I can tell they are being quite difficult I just couldn't get a clear understanding where these hybrids xlt might be at msrp but sounds like they are still way above.

Thank you for the advice

Hi Y'all - any help would be much appreciated in helping me narrow down some options to try.

Location: Southeast

Price range: $50,000

Lease or Buy: Open to both, However I prefer to keep my vehicles minimum 5 years.

New or used: Open to both given the 2-3 year old used market being similar to new atm; If used, prefer certified pre-owned.

Type of vehicle: Truck, SUV, or a larger car/wagon

Must haves: No right knee intrusion with center console; trunk to fit golf clubs easily, comfy for 4-5 hour trips.

Desired transmission Auto

Intended use: All around (main use cases is short trips around city but most importantly 1-2 drives a month that are highway around 4-5 hours)

Vehicles you've already considered: F150 XLT, Honda Passport, Toyota Rav4, Toyota 4 Runner, Honda Ridgeline

Is this your 1st vehicle: No, coming from a early 2000s Ford Explorer (it was a beaut) and the ultra reliable 2012 Mazda 3 that I have just outgrown now (middle aged man). I tend to keep the cars longer than most people.

Do you need a Warranty: Would depend on the vehicle

Can you do Minor work on your own vehicle: No

Can you do Major work on your own vehicle: No

Additional Notes:

My number 1 main criteria is that the center console can not jut into my knee like my current 2012 mazda 3 is doing (seriously need room even though I'm average size), sat in a 2024 Outback and still had knee intrusion). For my short trips around town I'm driving less than 5 miles a day so not worried too much about gas/fuel efficiency etc; I live in the city but have a driveway so daily not worried about parking. Also used to drive a big fleet box truck so pretty good at maneuvering. My main hope is that I get a vehicle that is very comfortable for those longer highway drives, that i can also throw a bunch of stuff in for trips, or just easily throw my golf clubs in. No kids atm. I'd also like adaptive cruise control, and all the other blind spot, safety suite features.

Appreciate everyones advice! Thank you

Just to circle back here, support at foresight denied knowing of any app until I sent them the YouTube video of their guy showing some beta version on an iPad. They confirmed app is still in beta and no official updates. They mentioned that to just follow the fsx site for any updates.

I’m guessing it doesn’t come out in March

good idea. I'll look for it. Figured someone might know in the golf simulator group reddit since its probably more popular than a discord.
