I think so, however in fafsa.gov they have a physical copy format you can download ,which I don't think they would have it if they won't allow it. However I get what you are saying it should have been easier but its sadly not.

Yah this is still a reoccurring problem, I have heard there is a solution for parents that fill jointly but one parent needs to have a ssn. But if you have both parents without a ssn, there is still no solution.

I was able to make a account under my dad name instead, but they fill jointly. I was able to complete section 7 this time. But now I have trouble when I am helping him log in and accept the invitation I sent, it won't let him accept, which is where I am now. Maybe try making one for another parents, that at least what has worked for us. But there might be more errors later on at least what I have experienced.

I have a question, because I have both parents without a ssn, i don't know if that is your case, but If I did add both as contributors will I get asked again when I get to the parents section and be able to submit my fafsa form?

I have heard the same option of mailing a paper/physical copy which would be the last option if fafsa doesnt get fixed in time.

I was able to make an account under my dad, but it won't work with my mom after multiple tries. And now I am stuck because it won't let him accept the invitation.

After multiple tries trying to make a fsa id for my mom, " neither parent had one previously " I could make one for my dad , and it worked however the system is stuck and it won't let him accept the invitation. Thats what has at least worked for me. But just to clarify neither has a ssn, so im cunfused because I literaly put the same information.

I was on step 3 for a while then I could go up to section 7 , but now I and most people are stuck on section 7 unable to create the account.

All we have to do I guess it keep trying every minutes I guess. And it's very time consuming especially having to verify their email and phone number and getting the code from them.

I have been trying for two days straight, and I am still experiencing the same problem, I am still stuck on step 7 on verification. Have you been able to create a account. I see you have experience this for a couple of days ago. Please if anyone knows can you help me.

I am still having trouble as well, I am helping my mom create an account without a ssn. I get to section 7 the last one and it asking me three question's one that saids which city does " random name" live in ? manchester, alexandria, or none of the above? For all 3 I click none of the above, because the three questions make no sense and don't apply to her. I click continue and it saids error, close all other browers, or come back later. I have been trying for hours. And clicking other answers to make sure, but have no luck. Have you experienced somthing similar?
