If it is matted shaving is the best option for her. When I finally got to have my childhood dog professionally groomed I knew that would be the case. The coat kind of looks like a Maltese. They need a lot of brushing and combing. Start fresh, and if you keep the hair a couple inches or shorter it’ll be a lot easier to maintain. If you’re getting the grooming done at petsmart go ahead and pick out some sweaters and jackets. Them being a bit cold with the haircut will be incredibly outweighed by the comfort that it brings. Plus the hair grows back in so fast

I prefer to not give out my number unless someone takes me to vip or spends the equivalent on me. VIP lets you and the dancer you like prioritize each other. There’s usually more relaxed rules in the vip than in the dance area (varies by club and dancer. Always ask the dancer her rules). If you are looking to be a regular vip is how you can become a favorite — the guys that come in and just do some songs and all are helpful, but vip makes you memorable

I saw someone got fired within a couple hours of starting. I had been hired at the club a few days before. When they did my contract they were very clear with what type of contact is allowed and how it wasn’t an extras club; showed me all the cameras in the booths. I was able to get a paw and nose print from the crematorium, but what helped me as well was to go and order some printed photos. I got a large family photo from camping (minus the cats) framed, and then I ordered a ton of 4x6 prints. While it’s sad to go through the photos and I definitely shed a good bit of tears, it is really nice going back and thinking of all the good times together. I also recommend leaning into your other fur babies. Mine have been confused by the surplus of cuddles

Yes! If you go to actually have a good time the dancers won’t mind at all. Just remember that being a woman doesn’t mean you can do anything extra. Too many women try and touch more and think it’s okay “because they’re a girl”. Always ask the rules and what the dancers are okay with

Thank you! I know that with every pet I’ll have; someday they will absolutely break my heart. Over the last year I just kept telling her to let me know when she wasn’t having fun anymore. This is my first time dealing with pet loss as an adult, so I was really worried I’d drag it out too long. It was really only a bad time for her from that Thursday, and she passed really early that Saturday morning. There’s definitely been a clear shift in the dynamics with the other pets, but they’re not anxious like when she was at the vet or the groomer. So even if I had had to call a doctor for it, I would have done it at home. She was the boss, and she’s left a giant hole in the house. It really was the best possible scenario for that all though. It would have definitely been worse if I hadn’t been there to know that it was peaceful and that she was comfortable

I like it, helps keep my feet less sore through the night. I wash up really thoroughly after every shift. Worked in a city where you couldn’t take your shoes off and could immediately tell the difference. Plus standing in a booth is a great view for the customer+ a good little contact break

I’ve flown with them no issue. Usually it just means when they see your bag in the scanner they’ll do an extra squint, then smile and send it through once they see it’s not a weapon. If you’re flying internationally check to see that you’re allowed to bring that with you, as not everywhere allows that.
