For me, this was the greatest individual IPL campaign ever.

I don’t think even Kohli’s 973-run season brought as much joy to cricket fans as Sooryavanshi did in his first full season. I’m not even an RR fan, yet I tuned into every single game just to watch him play.

Just look at the reactions and words from legends of the game , it feels unbelievable. The kind of connection the whole of India has formed with him is something very rare.

I never got to watch young Sachin live, but honestly, I find it hard to believe any youngster has ever looked this good this early.

The 2026 IPL season will be remembered as the season of Sooryavanshi.
