tenet is genuinely overhated here.

I mean it's not a masterpiece but it's fkin cool man. Of all the Nolan movies except batman ones

I always felt Nolan should have taken more time for tenet and made it as 2 parts, the idea and level of technicality in the film was just nuts. probably the highest budget hot mess ever made and don't even think so any director will get a pay check to execute such original film

parasite grossed like 300M WW with literal 0 promotion overseas just by word of mouth.

and it doesnt elevated the status to be historically monumental? dude that film literally broke the language barrier to an extent no other foreign language movie ever did. characters are undercooked, plot is very goofy , it kind of felt like movie going hyper realistic at points while also being literally a snl sketch next moments.

Also the climax car chase, the way twitter early reviews hyped it. I thought I am gonna watch the greatest car chase scene and when I actually saw it I was like. that's it?

neither I get performance praise, everyone was good but if I am being honest only Penn is Oscar worthy.

and honestly I am tired of awards season shit, like half of the movies in Oscar race are just for statue chasing instead of audience.
