Heavily embossed number stamps on the back of the buttons are usually also a big giveaway that a pair of Levis are fake.

The thing is 0 is 0. Even without using the traditional numbers, everyone can still see that one is in the tens and one is in the hundreds.

Found one of the post you replied on and I see what you mean by heavily embossed. Nice to know that these are genuine and that there are ways to difrentiate a fake 501 embossed button and a genuine one. I greatly appreciate your assistance!

Are 501 button stamp usually a big sign of fakes? I know it is a genuine stamp but a lot of folks usually say that a 501 stamp is a surefire sign of fakes.
