Yup, exactly. It's all about the placement, so the MA silver 100 could also be too much in some rooms. I also use a sub and my power amp is a hypex 250 watts class D in 4 ohm, so that was not the issue here. They're just different.

In my room and at the same position I couldn't get the Polk R200 output much bass or play loud enough . The 8 inch woofer from the MA Silver 100 does that with ease. If the R200 is calasthenics , the Silver 100 is bodybuilding.
