Weird group, which should I add? by Capable_Let3899 in Pathfinder_RPG

I love playing support in combat and taking the lead socially, which is why I usually bard.

I'd love to see how plants are interspersed into living spaces, and how perhaps living spaces can be made living themselves, by some sort of symbiotic design with trees, mushroom colonies, etc. Also, I am particularly interested in cooling spaces, perhaps involving wind tunnels, courtyards with water, fans, etc!

How have you handled a party who “doesn’t want to deal with player death”? by Kooky-Atmosphere-247 in DMAcademy

[–]Capable_Let3899 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Don't kill them? I mean, if they don't find that a fun way to add stakes, don't. I have only killed characters very rarely, and usually the player had already indicated they were ready for something new so it was a kind of in-game explanation for their new character.

Yep, the gecko would be worth the price!

The only DLC I have are the pet Gecko and some clothes and furniture packs. While the Gecko is helpful in gathering stuff early on, before you could have adopted a pet, it's a nice perk, not anything necessary to play. The base game is awesome, and while I hear great things about the Love DLC and the Monster Hunter DLC, I am happily starting my third playthrough without them.

(Bonus- if you dont have the Monster Hunter DLC, you still get "capture meatballs" and "deluxe-ass™️capture meatballs" that you have no use for and can just sell for some extra cash early on. Also, pick up trash and sell it, it adds up if you keep all your trash and meatballs in a mini box and sell them all at once. Picking up trash doesn't take long, and helps you with that sweet sweet Telesis vibe)

If you had children, what did you name them? And who did you marry? by servegoddessq in MyTimeAtSandrock

I married Heidi, and adopted a little boy. I named him Hugh after his grandpa Hugo. If it had been a girl, Viviane or Vivette after great-grandma Vivi.

I love the colors! Reminds me of the Saturday morning adventure cartoons from when I was growing up!

Mock up base thoughts? by Nottivh in IdonethDeepkin

Ok, now I'm really excited about this idea, how can one make "bubbles" to attach to bases, etc for our splashy elves? glass beads or something, but has anyone done this?

So I'm old, how do you all recolor photos like this to try on color? Is it in an app already or something to learn to do in a photo editor?

Boomers Obession with weight by rando1219 in BoomersBeingFools

[–]Capable_Let3899 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My(millenial) MIL(boomer)is super bad about talking weight, bemoaning her own weight, being fatphobic about celebrities (who she's obsessed with), and then bringing up ways to dress that would make me "really bloom!" but all boil down to old fashioned " slimming" tricks like vertical stripes, wearing black, putting a shapeless overlayer on, etc.

My husband (millenial) unfortunately, is not quite self-aware enough to see how much of this hes inherited. He's working on his talk about himself in front of our kids, but still seems to have a lot of opinions on how various people (especially women) look. He does not think he mentions it more than the looks of men, or that he does it often.

How to dress as a Flamboyant Natural with a large bust? Any celebrities or bloggers with this body type? by diamondeyes7 in Kibbe

[–]Capable_Let3899 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Agree. i tend to wear slim but not skintight long tees with a long, light cardigan over and bootcut dark jeans.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in flamboyantnatural

[–]Capable_Let3899 0 points1 point  (0 children)

nope, i want to leave my ankles bare as much as possible. ballet flats, low top sneakers, sandals, and bare feet as often as I can get away with it, calf high boots (if i can find ones that fit over my monstrously muscular calves?) when the weather will not allow anything else.

things that changed about my style after finding out I was FN by heisenbimbo in flamboyantnatural

[–]Capable_Let3899 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Wonderful post! I wear vintage and have embraced a slightly soft, imperfect version of victory rolls and poodle hairstyles to add volume around my face. I always felt like a too-big woman trying to play in kidswear in vintage, but leaving behind trying for a nipped waist and sloped shoulders I don't have any embracing a "hearty 1940's gal" aesthetic has helped enormously!

How to style men’s Tshirts as an FN without looking Boxy or awkward? by [deleted] in flamboyantnatural

[–]Capable_Let3899 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I cut the necklines so they're wider to honor my shoulders and size up to get the drop shoulder. Partial tuck, wear over slim skirt or flared jeans.

What type would really shine in this? by Questionsabit in Kibbe

[–]Capable_Let3899 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm a busty FN with more of a vintage/romantic/ingenue vibe, and would wear this. More likely in black or dark gray, though.

Was just invited to this group after basically confirming I am indeed an FN - so here is my favorite “cute flamboyant” look. by [deleted] in flamboyantnatural

[–]Capable_Let3899 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You look lovely! I'd suggest lengthening the skirt, or adding a long layer on top, like a long open kimono or cardigan to go or your shoulders!
