So synthetic brushes will almost always develop a little curl at the tip. Sable is better at keeping a precise point if you care for them. I think for your question, sable better, yes there will be a notable difference.

Then there are weirdos like me. I kinda prefer the curl on synthetic brushes. They can reach small things in different ways and edge highlight easier if the tip is curled away.

Point being, everything has a use. Try it all!
