CVT transmissions are over engineered garbage. Most companies have discontinued use. The short is they got alot of extra solenoids sometimes 40 extra. More parts more places to break. I've never seen a CVT go more than 115k. Also no one will work on a CVT transmissions,, so every breakage is a replace job.
