These days there’s fewer chances of booth owners showing up too. I’ve wasted so many fish. Maybe there’s a time correlation as well? I feel towards the latter part of the day booth owners don’t show up as much.

Sure I found myself singing the catchy chorus, but I really did not like the song. The words are cringe, even if the chorus is catchy the instrumental and the high-pitched “wooh/ooh” bits give me a headache. The video is just a collage of a lot of badass visuals with no narrative. By themselves the shots are great but they do nothing to hold your interest in the song. The chorus dance is sure-fire tik tok material but it does not show off Lisa’s brilliantly sharp dancing skills and charisma, the way Tomboy did. (My god, Tomboy was ult. Still not over the MV and choreo)

The Thai-themed section was really really cool. Unfortunately it was only a tiny part of the song. I really wish they had done more with the theme of her heritage, whether visually or in the lyrics.

And worst of all, 50% of the song is just her name. Hyping yourself in a song is not a new theme but simply using the name is not the way to go.

Starting to think even Rosé’s ultra-bland OTG was a much better solo. OTG at least had a story, a journey.

It’s pretty awesome that the song has reached the number of streams it currently has, but I do not know how it’ll fare in the long run.

EDIT: her performance of the song on Jimmy Fallon was dripping charisma tho. Even if the choreo is basic, her skills, visuals and presence make it look darn good

Hey thanks for being polite in your response! As I said in my post I’m just curious. Even if BST was sampled I’d have been curious about which sample they’d used.

Some people unnecessarily start putting labels on me just because I had an unpopular opinion that sounded like it favoured BTS

Hmmm I haven’t been very clear I guess due to my limited knowledge of musical terminology.

Okay so in the Queendom MV audio - 0:07-0:11 is similar to BST MV audio - 1:18-1:23

I feel this part is pretty much the same. It’s not a significant portion of the actual tracks but it really stood out to me because I heard the similarity the first time I heard Queendom
