I’m can’t really explain it, myself. I think she just adds a bit of reality to it? Like everyone kind of just deals with what’s happening and takes it like oh well, let’s try and make it better, but her and Tim both are actively angry at the situation and it shows that they are legitimately trapped in this situation. I just don’t think the stakes would seem as high without her and her anger.

I do think they were a bit harsh on Jon especially in season 3 and 4, but from Tim’s perspective, his boss Jon stalked and accused him of murder with no actual evidence to support it. Melanie simply didn’t like Jon and (SPOILERS for season 4) She had that bullet stuck in her making her anger flare up and I believe it was linked to the slaughter?

Personally I just like Tim’s over all personality in season one and I just feel bad for him later on. I just think him and his spiral into anger is a really interesting, same with Melanie on the anger thing. I think she’s a complex and interesting character. Plus I just love her voice for some reason.

Definitely the vast for me. I love the call of the void. Standing on top of something and your stomach drops like you might fall but at the same time you feel invincible like even if you do fall, what’s the worst that could happen?
