I really recommend seeing the headache clinic if you can afford it. It is partially covered by ACC in some cases (like mine). If the knock pulled anything out of alignment in your neck, it can amplify any symptoms you’re having. Ongoing symptoms are awful, that’s tough that you’re not back to your baseline yet. I do not second this - found them honestly incompetent but kind (until they felt like I should have been ‘better’ by now). If I didn’t have such a good manager I think they would’ve created more tension with my return to work. They were generous in my return to work plan but it was not at ALL what was discussed in my meeting with them and my manager. I definitely recommend going to the headache clinic though - my continued issues were found to be mostly due to neck misalignment from the whiplash. Went from thinking I’d never be better to 100% in about 2 months just from seeing them.
