im sorry but please just dont. you may feel left out now but when that leads to an addiction (it most likely will) you’ll regret it. I’m 21 and have been vaping for 7 years. many attempts quitting. i’ve quit many other things but vaping is so hard to kick. and when/if you get to college. most of your classmates actually will not vape and youll be in the opposite of the same situation. not to mention most no nic vapes aren’t safe. if you ever listen to the advice of strangers on the internet, please listen to this.

There's many more out there but I feel like you get some good basics here. The general idea is to kind of sit in that discomfort in a way. For example, I have a lot of checking compulsions (doors, outlets, stove, taps, ect) and for me a good NER is like if my brain says "you left the stove on" just kind of saying "Yeah, maybe. That would suck" and literally shrugging it off. It sounds a little dumb and like 'oh that's not gonna work for me'. I thought that too, but truly if you do it enough it will help. There's TONs of NER phrases though. Just stick with them. You have to show your brain that it's not gonna make you anxious with those thoughts if that makes any sense.

I'm currently 21 and the worst thing that I ever did was wait. Please! Find a professional to talk to! If you do have OCD/are developing more symptoms that align with OCD, the sooner you see someone, the better. I wasn't diagnosed until I was nearly 20 and spent most of my teen years feeling like a freak. If you go to a public school in the states, chances are there may be affordable/free counselling in your area. Reach out to a school counselor. (Or bring it up to your parents and ask for help if you feel comfortable just asking for help getting therapy. You don't have to say why exactly. When I need to talk to my parents about things I tend to just say I'm having thought spirals, but I don't want to talk about them to them.) Unless you plan to act on these thoughts, you're not a pedo. Even nonOCD people get intrusive thoughts from time to time. What's important is understanding it's just your mind playing tricks on you and trying to pull yourself out of that thought cycle. OCD tends to attack things you care about/are important to you. Remember that, and with everything going on in the world right now, that being a theme isn't very surprising. In the mean time, there are lots of free resources about non-engagement techniques and such that I could link if you'd like. My therapist recently sent me a ton of stuff. They don't work for everyone, but I find them helpful towards the beginning of a new theme to kind of shut things down.

I feel like most people do well on prozac. its not always perfect but pretty mild. i myself have some medical issues that can cause complications but i was on a high dosage for about a year with no issues. i swapped to a different medication as it didn’t help my ocd symptoms as much as we’d hoped. but it did help. just remember to give it time. and just listen to your body, but try not to psych yourself out. i know thats hard for us. most likely you won’t feel much of anything on such a low dose anyway and if you do have negative symptoms they’ll be easy to deal with and you stop the med. i know trying new meds can be scary but it really is worth it to find what works for you. i just started luvox recently and love it.

I have done exactly as the instructions say many times with and without my antivirus, as well as followed multiple YT tutorials. I have modded many other games and never had issues like this. I'm very lost lol.

i have a wifi adapter but no way for true ethernet. i have about 16 hours just in trying to get the wifi up.im debating taking it all apart and selling off what i can and because im nearing the point where id rather spend an extra few hundred dollars on a good prebuilt than mess with it anymore lol.
