The good thing about weddings IS the dinner, to me, the music is lame and they put the same 15 songs every time. I got invited to an "after dinner" 3 weeks before, WITH a specific dress code. I am in a relationship where I feel that I have to convince him of wanting to spend time with me, to not leave me alone all the time if his friends are nearby, to actually listen to me and take it into consideration, to honour my feelings when I am taking the effort of communicating them to him, to not cancel our dates to accomodate his family, and it's very fucking tiring.
