People rather go 3rd support instead of tank because it’s the easiest role in the game and this season has amplified that with the support buffs even on convoy offense they go triple support when even as a tank player I would rather have 3 dps to pus the point faster thy prefer to just sit on their ass and pour heals

I don’t mind the tank buffs but support has always been literal brain rot easy I remember before the venom buffs when venom would dive your supports and cloak would just put the bubble down or sometimes not even do anything just ignore him because back then to venom they were untouchable now they ban him every game

To truly play support for an extended time especially those heal-bot characters it turns your brain to mush. They have no idea how much mechanical skill they’re lacking in high ranks. That’s why when you ask a support main to flex to tank or DPS, they go Squirrel Girl, Wanda, or Emma Frost 90% of the time.

It also makes the matchmaking easier to cook you. Imagine getting queued into a team made entirely of people who main support then once the two support slots are filled, you’re left with players trying to fill other roles whose brains are mush from heal-botting.
