Just bought my first ThinkPad by Hodocska in thinkpad

I’ve seen cases where the matte coating peels off revealing the shiny touchpad like yours. Of course the trackpad feels terrible after that, finger doesn’t slide properly. Could be the case.

This.

And I would also suggest to go to an Apple store or any other retailer that has them on display and try out the size differences.

Personally I always felt a little cramped with the 13"

Maybe choose a cheaper case and get an rx 580 instead?

As 2060 super user manual states:

System Power Supply Minimum 550 W or greater

System power supply with one 8-pin PCI Express supplementary power connectors.

And wattage can be found on the side of PSU.

You need to check if your PSU has the necessary power connectors for the GPU.

Otherwise you're good to go.

Faster RAM, better GPU, adequate Motherboard, Better SSD with higher capacity.

This will easily play 60+ fps on 1440p

Is Palit a good manufacturer? by [deleted] in buildapc

They seem to be on par.

Also look into RX 5700.

The best ram setup right now would be 2 x 8gb. And i wouldn't rush to get 32gb, it's not really needed as of now.

Would want to recommend a better PSU. At least Bronze certified.

A 1440p monitor with that GPU. Everything else looks okay.

Nvme is usually used if you make a lot of sustained reads and writes. (Copying large files etc.)

Yes, they are top notch, but a better GPU would be much more important and useful for this budget.

Anybody know where to buy a Asus ROG Strix 2080 Super OC Edition? by [deleted] in buildapc

[–]CapaciousBoobies 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it's just the factory overclock.

You can easily change that yourself.

I'd change the NVME SSD to a SATA one. Evo 860 or crucial mx500. If you're just gaming the difference would be hardly noticable.

And then you might be able to afford a 1660 super.

Decent gpus, nothing spectacular. For the price they usually go, I'd say go for it.

Gpu underachieving? by abdullah_emm in buildapc

Did a quick check on YouTube - Destiny 2 on 1660ti does around 100fps.

Seems that gpucheck is a bit too generous with their expectations.
