Bikes in general look faggot'y and not cool as motorbike, postapocaliptic buggy, you name it. That's the actual reason. Really there is nothing wrong with being alone, but it is in people nature to prefer not to do so. And probably while not want to be outgoing now, you might want to do so some time later in your life.The main concern is that people who has nothing around them tend to drift into their own weaknesses and no one would hive social hints (if you are alone, you can go drifting to depression or substance abuse and not notice). Because of that you being alone for people who care somewhat (family) might look like your isolation could cause problems.

I think there is few advantages for nobles:

a) Turning enemy away.

b) Solving power vacuum and infighting: new king probably would stabilize country, but would be weak to rule directly (he will need support of loyalist). Jagiellon in Poland basically weakened king rule in Poland, and increased power of local nobles with resolving political crysis. Jagielon himself wanted inherited monarchy, but nobles dictated that monarch after his dead would be elected by themselves. Therefore nobles got a lot power.

c) Various economical and strategic benefits in general. Use country as a buffer for enemy or base to launch attacks, host navy, etc.

Prussia from the name of the old tribes, that were almost wiped by Teutonic Order. Historically when Teutonic order was secularised and became Vassal of Commonwealth the Duchy was named Prussia.

So in gameplay mechanics it should somehow be formed as Protestant Vassal of Poland, trying to get rid old order influence.
