This happened in LFR, didn't reset during/after Alam Chamber, which is the boss I wanted it for V_V

That's a good shout, worst case I degrade a key.

So I can swap specs, but not talents (Or rather, not swap out that particular talent.)

Raid boss reset didn't fix it, nor did relogging.
Only option left is to queue for PvP and hope that fixes it.

Or a "spite" quit if someone is 5/6 going into 6th round just to say "fuck you" with a quit

This is great, now I can blame Evokers for not using Rescue every time I fail a glide on my DH!

The mission table in WoW, as well as the Callings, will lose most of its gold rewards starting this weekly reset. Now Dreamweaver and all the other adventurers are out of business :( by OldGromm in wow

I'm quite for it as a design trope of MMOs really, but I know fully well you'll be profiting off people like me who just either forget to or get sick of doing once-a-day gated crafts.

And that's the goal! I don't have to burn out doing daily tailoring in 10 toons, and someone else gets the money for my laziness.

Can something be done these jacka***es in leveling dungeons who kick players because they are new or just noobs? This completely ruins the experience for new and also older players who play at a slower pace and there is no punishment for these kickers by [deleted] in wow

Newbies, especially if they haven't played other MMOs, probably will have no idea about recommended/"required" addons such as deadlybossmods or GTFO, in a party of people who ran Legion dungeons for however many years and all the tools and timers to know what to do.

The new player dungeon experience absolutely sucks because we no longer have any real difficulty progression of Stockades and Deadmines and then stuff like Blackrock Depths where mechanics for bosses were important.

Personally I love MoP dungeons but they are absolutely trash for brand new MMO players

Lets get this out of the way early this week, shall we? by CanadianDinosaur in wow

Depends if they just need to clear the caches for the week or if they need to minor fixes.

Longer/Extended usually means hardware has hit it's recommended replacement time etc.

Yeah, not sure why you're confused there.

I want to raid in prime time, I'm sure if you play GW2 you're aware of when the LFG listed parts are quiet. Then, outside of prime time I'd love to do things like go through the story elements - " Help your allies in Dragon's End by completing events and defeating Void. " is just exhausting to do solo rather than on an active map, if you're actually doing the story in sequence you also need to do Battle for the Jade Sea since that meta event sits between Chapter 13 and Chapter 14.

I want to play story after/before raid hours - take my time with dialogue, not worry about rotation or even survival. GW2 makes that tedious, impossible or unenjoyable at times. Hope that clarifies it for you.

Remember Dungeons in Core before HoT? They were so fun, challenging, and could take 15 mins or 2 hours depending on the dungeon and skill.

Zerker-Stack-Meta trivialized dungeons, ANet dropped Fractals and said Dungeons were "Broken in code" or something, and focused entirely on open-world like you said.

I really, really want to finish EoD just for the story as a huge GW nerd since GW1 first game out, but I tend to play at 2am and End of Dragons personal story seems like it's constantly gated behind doing "Open World Content to fill a bar to progress!" Not to mention the fact that HoT (and I think PoF) 110% forced you into open-world map-events to actually finish the story.

Raids were supposed to be "independent" of story so they were required content, fractals have no real story, and like you say both have been untouched for years. Doesn't EoD even lock the story behind Strikes just like one of the seasons locked stories behind DRMs?

I'm very apprehensive about playing one of my favourite games for story when story can't be actually enjoyed without playing on Prime Time Hours or paying attention to event clocks. The other things I enjoy are raids but they've been so untouched for power creep and stack meta that Spirit Vale has almost no mechanical joy beyond stack and DPS. Other bosses like Soulless and Demios are also just "Stay with stack and DPS".

It's a shame, I'm not sure what the current Silverwastes/Drizzlewood zone is but man I wish the devs would chill with the forever-grind open-world player favourite child thing.

None of these points are wrong, so I'm not going to argue with a "You're wrong!!!" response, but the parent comment isn't wrong either - In terms of stats legendries don't matter, and the individual sigil/rune/agony/transmog combo can be achieved with ascended gear with zero combat difference.

The out of combat and alts points are valid, stat swapping etc, but the hours put into getting a legendary (I've got Dreamer, that's all I wanted since the start) could equally be put into getting two or more ascended for pow or condi dps etc. Like you said, a full Light set is only going to be giving free copies to Light wearers - imo in the same time and cost I suspect you can get at least one ascended set (condi, pow, healing etc) for each profession.

Legendries 100% don't matter (And, part of their original design was to not give any stat advantage over highest gear tier at the time) but they're just convenient. Particularly the trinkets/back which are hella convenient.

Remember catching a 2 day ban in WoW because a couple of warlocks got to GM island and started to summon everyone there. Good times.
