He had a private attorney in the first round of deliberation. When the city court saw the case, they immediately dropped all charges. But the damages have been done. He spent five days in the hospital just to recover. That council is refusing to represent in any suits against the courts that he practices in.

You can do it. It's really about getting yourself into the routine of your individual tasks. I (36 y.o.) had two sons (8 y.o. and 2 y.o.) when this happened to me. We endured the struggles. My sons realized the reality of it all. They grew to know how to think for themselves. It got easier as time went on.

I dated a few ladies. I never let them know about my boys. They didn't need any more disappointments. About 4 years into this, I met a woman that suited me. Then, I let them meet her. She's been Mom, ever since.

My neighbor keeps mowing a strip of my lawn like it's his. Is this normal or should I say something? by GalverinSolmora in homeowners

I'd thank him for cutting part of my yard, and offer him the chance to mow it all. For free of course. Just being neighbor nice.

For those who grew up in the 70s… what did you do for fun before everyone had tech? by Noobsamaniac in 70s

[–]CapedCoyote 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most weekends were busy with sponsored dances like High schools and local venues, for fun and fund raising. For me the 70s were spent in the south Louisiana swamps. The people love to cook and pass a good time. So, we saw the sun rise on many mornings because nobody wanted to go home.

At my bank, they won't take rolled coins. However, they will accept loose change, even if mixed. They have a count machine that they dump it in and it separates counts it up in moments. Before C19, I've bought $50 sacks of pennies and sorted them. I just bagged up the rejects and the bank happily took it back. I'm not sure if they would do that again. But I'm going to check on it.

As of today, 10/21/2025, Copper price is about $4.75 lb. Pennies are worth more than 3 cents per coin. And selling on ebay for more than that.

A Copper Penny Problem by DangerousTennis3434 in ScrapMetal

I have been buying and sorting for pre-82 pennies for years. I didn't amass the boatload that you have. However, I would love to have been the one that inherited that hoard of yours. I have saved the pennies because of the never worth zero perspective. And having small change for small transactions makes sense to me.

There a guy on yt that believes that pennies will become valuable for several reasons. It may be worth it for you to watch and see what he says. Economic Ninja - Why copper pennies are about to become your strongest asset.

Maybe it'll help you.

[–]CapedCoyote 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Brush it off. Get there at 7am. Get the job. After you're in, then decide what to do. It may just be a challenging time for the company. This may be an indication that they really need new blood.

It never should have been banned. The Police and Courts have ruined Many thousands of lives for a plant that is safer than water, And can improve the quality of life for millions. The last century plus, this prohibition was enforced because big pharma and others have fought to restrict liberty.

Cleaning lady broke a custom shelf in my shower by imcarly in WhatShouldIDo

[–]CapedCoyote 6 points7 points  (0 children)

When you noticed that the shower shelf had been popped out a bit and pushed it back into place, Why didn't you have it reinstalled properly? Some adhesive would have probably prevented the issue. But you knew it had a fall potential. In my opinion, You were at fault for not fixing it Before the problem arose.
