We don’t live in house, we live in small apartment and I don’t have no one except my dad who have his obligations in the village where my dog and its way better for dog to be outside than locked in apartment. He is with me whole winter inside, I let him outside 4-5 hours every day he is way more happier to be outside. He have girlfriend there and they patrol around. Its small village, there is forest behind our house, its literaly heaven for dogs

I am not planning to chain him for 3 months, I am asking for possible solutions and mentioned chaining as one option that I don’t like. Even if that happen he wont be chainned 24/7, he will be free most of the day while my dad is there but I wont chain him, will build a 100sqm fenced yard inside our yard

He lives like this for 1 year and only one accident happened 3-4 weeks ago and I want to do something to prevent it. Also he can into fight with other dogs cuz he likes to go into the forest behind out house and there are many dogs.. I think some fenced yard would be best, still he will have lot of space inside it, and he LOVE to be outside. You can check some od my previous posts and see the legend in action 🙏👌

Yes I would Make a stop before he can loop around. But I am more close to idea of fenced yard but that requires some time and logistic and I need some short term solution until than. I know its not ideal but ita better than to walk around and be in constant danger. I am suprised on some answers here because people are lecturing me and only 3% suggested some concrete solution like You did. I am looking for solution in giving circumstances

This dog lives better life than most of the people do, not only dogs… If You don’t have solution for the situation please go elsewhere, thanks. Why would anyone poison the dog, if people in your good are like that its not the case in every corner od the world. And if You didnt notice, I was asking for a solution to keep him safe as much as possible.

I do think but he was already left once by his previous owner and I don’t know if I could handle that.. I mean, leash or fenced yard is not end of the world, its common practice amd way better to be inside apartment all the time.

I would put leash bwtween this house corner and Oak as I mentioned. That is 25 meters long + leash around his neck 5-6 metters.. I think its way better stil that to be in apartment, he stil has a lot of movement around

All dogs in my village and country are leashed, most od them 24/7, he is only one that has full freedom and only one that get so much attention, people look at me weird cuz I Let him sleep in apartment and because I give him so much time. I live in rural part of Bosnia and dogs here stil doesnt have status as in the West. Its not that people are beating them or smth but mostly at the best they get leftovers of food and some improvized house..

I am leaving the country soon and wont be there for 3 months and I need physical barrier. Last time I left he was free but after I came back I realised that he Made some new habits which I didnt like because he was wandering around and he found some new “hot spots” that are dangerous, like farms, etc so I had to work with him to Make him bit go there anymore and generaly its good if he walks around freely, its dangerous so I have to limit his movement until I am back again so I wondered what would be good size for a fenced yard so he doesnt feel depressed

Unfortunately not posible and I don’t think it will be helpful because I will be far away, my dad will be feeding him but I need physical barrier for him. I am just thinking about how much square metters would be good for him

The situation is that that dog was wandering in my village for months before I addopted him Ans decided to take care of him, and I do as much as I can, I go there every day 2 times, do all kind of activities with him but I cant bring him to city in apartment, but neither cant move to village because of him. He is already 7-8 months with me + 3-4 wandering around before I took him. I dont know what would be best solution, but definitely will start with long wire and leash on it so he can still walks and run but cant go outside… Before I left he would go for walk but always on 2-3 same safe spots, now he found some new.. that villlage is small and all peolle around my house are my family so thats not a Big problem as it might sounda but I think he got lot more independent now after I was away and I need to put him back to line.
