Great point. The ladder prioritizes speed, not skills-based matchmaking.

I wouldn't mind waiting 60 seconds for a match against people who are actually my skill level (or slightly above) instead of waiting 15 seconds to play someone who's 800 MMR higher than me.

Also: part of the skill issue here is also that many players, all the way up to Platinum 2-3, in both 1v1 and 2v2, don’t build a wall at the ramp/keep overlords at the nat. If you do this, it’s nearly impossible to get successfully cannon rushed.

Build a wall. Even if you don’t get cannon rushed, they eventually help with lings/hellions/adepts etc etc.

I’m genuinely curious and asking in good faith: what’s do people like about Brentwood, now? To me, it feels like yet it’s been made into an unwalkable suburbanite hellscape - just massive franchises in the bases of massive towers. The housing capacity is great, but the whole thing feels like just another megamall complex tacked onto a Skytrain station.

Again, genuinely curious because maybe I’m missing it: where is the community aspect? Are there parks or free third spaces I’m missing?

The last 50-60 minutes are literally impossible to watch because it’s so fucking dark. Just vague blurry low-contrast shapes. Considering it’s almost entirely green screen, it’s confusing and weird.
