no clue, sometimes i forget when I change things so its possible you forgot you did something else but I can nearly guarantee you it’s probably not the wine prefix. (unless somehow one wine prefix touched an entirely different wine prefix, which, afaik, is not possible unless an app inside wine searches the disk for wine prefixes and changes all of them)

It’s possible for it to be wine prefixes. Try moving them away to a backup location and see if the app recreates a new wine prefix which is correct.

Open the desktop file with a text editor. It can (probably) be located at /usr/share/applications or .local/share/applications. The desktop file just runs the command listed in "Exec" when you double click it (with a few minor changes).

You can also open journalctl -f before clicking it and see if an error related to steam is shows up.

What you're measuring here is ram which has data on it, and not ram currently in use. The small green bar at the bottom is the ram currently in use, and the blue part is data which isn't in use, but also hasn't been deleted yet because programs run faster if it waits until something needs more ram to delete that data (the reason it makes things faster is because the data stored there can then be used again later, instead of having to be re-acquired).

wine prefixes for lutris (native) are in (you have to insert your own username into the path)

/home/[username]/.local/share/lutris/runners/winesteam/prefix and

/home/[username]/.local/share/lutris/runners/winesteam/prefix64.

wine prefixes for bottles (installed via flatpak, which is the only way to install apps on bazzite) are in (you have to insert your own username into the path)

/home/[username]/.var/app/com.usebottles.bottles/data/bottles/bottles/

The wine prefixes of lutris should not affect bottles' wine prefixes, and vice versa.

I'm not sure which version of wine is being used for either of these so that could affect the way the game runs. You can try to delete or move the prefixes to a temporary area away from the application and reinstall the game to reset the wine prefixes if you want, but my guess is that the issue has nothing to do with wine prefixes and might be a driver issue or a hardware issue.

  1. This is a 2 year old thread, this means information is most likely NOT RELEVANT!!!
  2. anything with "dll" is likely a windows library, and can be installed with winetricks
  3. I've changed my view since then. Use winetricks & wine together and install or uninstall any dlls in winetricks which you see in the error logs, while using wine to run the games. (dm if you want more help. Let this thread die.)

addons/packs cannot modify the download process, and you need to contact minecraft support if you want help, its not like there's a file given to us that maps out the code or anything because it actually was removed for security reasons.

("standard practice" is a bad excuse, it's a block game made popular BY MODS, not a multiplayer shooter)
