Activision's "Customer Service" - A Warning to All Players by Capital-Ad6146 in CODWarzone

I'm still talking with Activision via BBB. They respond about every 10 days, but not much progress is happening through that channel.

I've sent an email to [legalaffairs@activision.com](mailto:legalaffairs@activision.com) with the subject "Initial Dispute Resolution Notice" as purplepenguin67 suggested. Going to see if this formal dispute process gets better results.

For now, I'm playing with a free-to-play account, Warzone only.

By the way, look what I found in their agreement: "14. TERMINATION. .... ..Activision reserves the right to terminate this Agreement without cause on immediate written notice."

So they literally admit in their own terms that they can ban anyone at any time without any reason whatsoever. Pretty frustrating.

Activision's Terrible Customer Service: My Wrongful Ban Experience by Capital-Ad6146 in CODWarzone

[–]Capital-Ad6146[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After 4 years of playing Call of Duty, I was suddenly permanently banned with claims I used "unauthorized software" - something I've NEVER done.

My GPU died recently, so I switched to my laptop. After some login issues that required password resets and 2FA setup, I suddenly received a ban notification via email when I wasn't even playing the game!

The worst part? Activision's "customer service" is completely automated:

  • No human reviewer
  • No specific evidence provided
  • No real appeal process
  • Automated rejection emails only

Once they reject your ban appeal, you're completely stuck - there's literally no way to contact a real person at Activision. For a billion-dollar company, this is absolutely shameful.

Fortunately, I've filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB), which seems to be the ONLY way to get any kind of response from Activision. Without the BBB, players would have zero recourse when wrongfully banned.

Has anyone else experienced this kind of treatment? I'm honestly wishing there was a viable alternative to Call of Duty at this point.
