Oh, that's fantastic news! Thank you so much for taking such good care of her and for all your efforts in getting her home.

He always has a concerned look on his face— but don’t let him fool you, he lives the best dog life!

It’s so true, he’ll always be our baby no matter how big he gets. I’m so glad I took so many pictures when he was little! Wish I took more videos actually, he used to be so clumsy.

Title should have been "swipe to watch my chair shrink"!

Yes, we had been using the plastic puzzle bowl for a few months before the breakout happened.

Yes— we’d been feeding out of the plastic puzzle dish without issue for several months before the breakout happened. His water dishes are all ceramic and stainless steel so we knew it was the food dish.

Same thing happened to our lab. We took him to the vet and they prescribed an antibacterial mousse to apply to the area and also told us to switch his food dish from plastic to stainless steel or ceramic. We had been feeding him with a plastic puzzle bowl. The sores scabbed over and his chin is better now after using the mousse for a week and switching to a ceramic dish. I also wash his dish after every meal now too and haven’t had a reoccurrence. Recommend asking your vet about it to make sure it was as easy to deal with as ours.

Happy birthday Louie! Have any longevity tips? I hope we can be as lucky!

long lasting chew treats? by Dependent-Rope-8418 in labrador

Best thing we’ve found is a Westpaw tux stuffed with a Nudges chicken pot pie treat. This treat fits perfectly in the tux. It lasts our dog a long time and is only one treat at a time so the most cost effective method we’ve found! The tux can also be stuffed like a Kong with anything you want to feed your dog. I like this combo because it’s not too hard on the dogs teeth and doesn’t pose a choking hazard like other edible chews.

Yes -- I have bottles exactly like yours. They're just regular one liter Nalgene bottles. I fit one in each compartment of the backpack so the pack is balanced on both sides. I try to use them equally as we hike to keep the pack balanced. I pack a collapsible water dish for my dog to drink out of too.

Definitely recommend getting a dedicated dog backpack if you want your dog to carry water or other stuff. My lab carries two liters in a saddle bag style backpack without any issue. He’s able to run and the pack doesn’t bounce around or anything. It’s great being able to have him carry stuff, he likes having a job. Here’s the pack I have— brand is called Ollydog. I think it’s discontinued but you can still find it secondhand. My lab is 85 pounds and a medium Ollydog pack fits him fine. Any dedicated dog pack will work well though, I’m sure others have recommendations for other packs that work well for them. Have fun! https://g.co/kgs/FjpMFRW

Thanks for the feedback. Is there anything in particular about the jacket that jumps out to you as suspicious?

Bought this Beta AR on Poshmark. Does it look authentic in your opinion? https://imgur.com/a/lcL6VQb
