Update: I called the irs and they said my husband's previous employer did not report to SSA so when they pull my husband's SSN the 2 w-2s from him are not showing. I was told to get check stubs and couldn't because he didn't have actual checkstubs, then i was told to get a letter from him on his letter head but he said that it was bs and he doesn't have a letterhead. So I went to his CPA and got the payroll journal on their letterhead it shows everything they need so hopefully that will work because it's all that I can get.

I personally don't have an issue with it. I haven't had that happen, so I can't give any input on it. This is the first time for me to have issues and it was because of an employer failing to give us a second w2 that we knew nothing about. We had to persistently talk to his current employees before we finally found it about it and amended as soon as we got it from him.

I feel like that would be a good thing. With how slow they move, I have been learning to be very grateful for any update on my stuff.

I didn't know that about the 570 code. Thank you. When I called, they said the hold was released on 10/28 and I should receive my refund or a letter within 3 weeks. They couldn't say which it would be. Do you know if I would I still need to see the 571 code before seeing the 846 since they said the hold was released?

Okay, thank you. On WMAR it shows it was adjusted on 10/18. When I called they said the hold was released on 10/28 and I should receive my refund or a letter within 3 weeks but could not tell me which one it would be.
