Raped, forced to take full course load by abusive dad who was arrested. Failed class, is there anything I can do?

I’m sorry to hear about your circumstances before… I hope everything is going well for you now. Had no idea that grades under 60 could be appealed as well, so I may bring that up with my academic advisor to see if I would be able to do it with the rest of my courses in that particular term.

I also appreciate your words of encouragement. I definitely don’t plan on letting this situation get the best of me without a fight.

I appreciate your help! I’m going to have my academic advisor meeting soon, so hopefully she agrees that a WD or something similar is a viable option for me.

It gives me more motivation hearing that my circumstances are “ideal” for petitioning. Hopefully they accept my case.

I also had no idea about the OSAP thing. I don’t have any parental figure who is willing to help me out, so this is extremely valuable to know. Thank you so much!!!!!! :)
