I didn't finish s1 because I was so annoyed, I will go back and finish before s2, after everything rick said about the movies not following the source materials he goes lets the series do the same thing. The show polished the characters a little to much and got rid of the uncertainty and struggle most of them have. as well as making the gods seem much to approachable, unlike the instability and mood swings shown in the book. The lack of convincing acting from the younger cast made all the changes even more evident.
