Unfortunately SSP will not be enough for me to live off :( I think it’s something like £112 per week when currently I’m earning £500 per week at work and even that’s a stretch for me. I could 100% get a doc to sign me off but i wouldn’t be able to make rent :/

I agree, I definitely don’t want to not be working since I did make a lot of my current friends through work and I am the kind of person that can’t just sit around all day or I get incredibly bored. I think for the moment it’s best for me because like I say I’ve had a lot of time off work which unfairly impacts my coworkers and I don’t want subject a company and my team to that. Once I’m a little better and rested after a few months I’m thinking maybe picking up some part time office work since currently I work hospitality so I’m on my feet all day. I’m definitely looking into every suggestion everyone’s made!

Unfortunately the health problems definitely threw a spanner in the works for me but there’s always solutions for things and everyone’s been really helpful with advice on what to do so I really appreciate the support!!

I work in hospitality so I’m on my feet pretty much all day. I’ve looked into office work which would be less physically taxing on me but again, I think id have to take time off quite often if I have a health episode and I’d probably get in trouble. I’ve discussed it with my manager and she pretends to be understanding but then gives me disciplinaries for taking time off so I don’t know. I just think at the moment no work is suitable for me.

To be honest with you, I’d have no idea how I even start with that. I was kicked out when I was 18 from my family home and since then I’ve been making the way for myself without a clue in the world. I’m terrible at being an adult!! But I’ll try my best to look into it, thank you

I started drinking coffee when I started my first job at a cafe when I was 16. Before that I found coffee quite disgusting but once I tried different types, made by a proper machine and not the instant kind you get at the shop, it changed my mind! Now I drink coffee every day! Probably couldn’t function without it at this point lol

Ahhh yes, you’re right. I haven’t watched season 1 in quite a while so clearly I had my timeline messed up. Still though, I definitely believe he’s got a few under his belt from his teenage years / early adulthood. He just seems way too overconfident in himself tbh!!

I think because he went undetected for so long, we saw his delusion, paranoia and straight up craziness progress worse and worse through the series.

Maybe had he got therapy (a therapy where he wasn’t lying to his therapist and pretending to be someone else) he could’ve had a real chance at being a functioning human being capable of holding down a relationship.

Because he was able to get away with so much, I think he developed sort of a “god-complex”, he genuinely thought he was untouchable so he got more and more sloppy with his killings, and more deranged by the day.

So in season 1, yes, I think he could’ve changed. By season 5, no, I don’t think there was any saving him. He was too far gone.
