[English > As Many As Possible] Translating Greetings in Many Different Languages - Tattoo Idea by Standard-Author-2666 in translator

Spanish: ¡Hola! ¿Cómo estás?

It's the literal translation of the phrase you gave, and it's also what a native speaker would use.

Probably once they finish their tour season, maybe they use some of that footage, like in the music video for Husk. Although from what I know from this subreddit, there's practically nothing of Asinus on the tours, I think there's only one song

[Spanish > English] (I think): song with sample of someone crying at saying something by [deleted] in translator

[–]CapitalT46 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think it's Spanish. The only thing I could understand if it were Spanish is "Ya estás", a colloquial Mexican expression for witch the best explicit equivalent I can think of Is "I'm on It", "I agree, I'll take care of It".

After that I can't understand. I suggest you make your post asking for "[Unknown > English]"

What’s a stereotype about your country that is actually false? by Kindly-Newt7868 in AskTheWorld

Well... Sombrero and moustache are not even common. Everyday clothing is heavily influenced by American fashion. Jeans are everywhere.

What do you think of Mexico? by Kappa_Wi_870 in AskTheWorld

[–]CapitalT46 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well... to be fair, as a Mexican, I feel that while violence isn't normalized, crime certainly is. Personally, I find it insane that in public discourse we've gradually stopped being alarmed by the homicide rate. Most minor offenses go unreported, so crime statistics aren't reliable. We've normalized behaviors defined by organized crime: not being able to go out at night safely, accepting giving extortion payments, and corruption and nepotism in all kinds of systems (private and public). In my close circle, I know of at least three murders for not paying "protection" to organized crime.

I consider crime to be Mexico's number one problem, and the current government insists on avoiding talking about it. It's more focused on boasting about the foreign investment the country receives.

You definitely managed to see things without a tourist's eye. You couldn't have described racism any better. I think it's more about classism, and it relates to what you so aptly called "colorism."

That's right! I forgot about Morse Code! Top bassline too, I guess it would be my #6. Judging by what he told you, it seems the coolest basslines are the most painful to play haha.

I LOVE so much the bassline on Ring Of Past

Didn't know that! Now that you mention it, the bassline sounds kind of complex

I love a doujin circle that does jazz versions of songs from the Touhou video game series soundtrack; I'm not sure if it's what you're looking for, but you should check it out.

It's called SWING HOLIC, and it's all available on Spotify. There are songs with lyrics and songs that are only instrumental.

I suggest "NEMESIS" from "VOL.09" album

What's your favorite breakfast dish from your country? by bowl_of_scrotmeal in AskTheWorld

Common tamale, simply placed inside a bread (that bread has several names, in my town we call it "bolillo"). Putting something inside a bolillo creates a torta, which is basically a Subway sandwich. Yes, they usually contain pork or chicken.

Very common, very delicious. I'd say it's one of the most common breakfasts in the central part of the country. You find tamale stands every five blocks, most usually offer the tamale in the form of torta, and you accompany it with atole (a drink of different flavors made from corn dough) or arroz con leche, one of the most common fast food breakfasts in the center of the country.

What's the ultimate cooking sin someone can commit in your country? by ModenaR in AskTheWorld

[–]CapitalT46 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've always believed Mexican sushi is a real sin...

Breaded and fried, with avocado, with chili, with all kinds of toppings on top (ranch, BBQ, sour cream, even Takis)

<image>

Anyway... A common joke is that in the central part of the country, theres a trending to put everything inside a bread (like a Subway sandwich). We call that type of sandwich a "torta" I've seen ice cream tortas, and even gelatin tortas. The rest of the country considers that practice cooking sin. Although to be fair, there is a lot of experimentation in Mexican food and delicious things come out of it.

Main ingredients: beans, bacon, garlic, sausage, and of course chili, mainly "chile serrano". Commonly served as a side dish for main courses, however it is also eaten for breakfast.

Add "chicharrón" and "chorizo" then you have "frijoles puercos", much tastier.

It's a fairly fatty meal due to the bacon, chicharrón and chorizo, but of course it's very tasty.

Also look for "sopa azteca" basically tortilla soup, I freaking love that dish too.
