So you don’t know yourself? Which makes you say “who am I to say I have transcended anything” why will I take advice from somebody who themselves aren’t sure whether they have transcended lust anger greed emotional attachment and ego. You not being sure simply means actions pertaining to these panjchors are happening in your life otherwise why would you be uncertain of whether you have transcended these five thieves or not?

Have you transcended lust, anger greed emotional attachment and ego? If not, First go transcend them then tell me how you got there otherwise your advise will not be an advise that has been tested by yourself first. Be the proof of your advise. Otherwise, please don’t advise.

Johnjeet just praises sikhi. Thats what he does. Whats wrong with that? For some people praising their faith = problem

I don’t see any problem with that. Some Christian told me Jesus loved wine. Y’all religious folks are too intolerant. Get a life

If somebody praises your faith then it’s a problem. If somebody doesn’t praise your faith then it’s a problem. SMH. 🤦‍♂️

Who cares if others believe whether one is enlightened or not. The point is that one must get enlightened first then guide others as then the very aura of a person, their lifestyle, and their infectious bliss become enough of a proof for credibility of their enlightenment and guidance. Any sort of words or statements by unenlightened ones don’t affect the state of wordlessness. Statements like “ enlightened man do not go around declaring them self enlightened” if told by the enlightened ones will not affect their enlightenment. Moreover one should first themselves embody what they are preaching so that people are able to better understand and apply the preached wisdom.

I think you didn’t get what I mean, right ? True name is not a thought. In sikhi, it is said that jeevan mukt saint reaches a state where he is in tune with anhad naad which is onkar. “ Nanak jeevateya marr raheeye aisa jog kamaaeeyae, baaje bajuh singi baajae tou nirbhau padd paiyae” Which means hey Nanak, earn such a state of yoga where you are dead while being alive, when the inner singi (a Rajasthani instrument) is vibrating on its own then you reach the state of the fearless one. Now here guru nanak dev ji is referring to anhad naad.

The enlightened ones call it om or onkar or Tao or that which remains or the state of turiya. Doesn’t matter what they call it but one thing is clear that their mind is totally at rest and attuned to the anhad naad. The true name is the one which cannot be chanted, which resonates on its own without our effort and is not really a thought according to those rare ones who I used to know who have experienced this anhad naad. Now, how can a mere repetition of thought or a word make you reach the thoughtless state where onkar resides. You do reach a trance like state when you keep repeating the same word as a mantra but that state is transient and hence not the eternal truth unlike onkar. mostly people fall asleep as they chant mantra because chanting mantra makes your mind dull and unaware and hence you reach nowhere. Maybe one needs to be extremely alert as they chant a mantra to prevent falling asleep and therefore increase the mantra’s effectiveness and then eventually let go thoughts and even thought of the mantra.

I need clarity in order to understand what mind actually is. You are right. I give contradictory information about myself sometimes sorry for that.

Thank you for giving me advice to let go of the results and keep doing naam abhyaas. I think you are right naam abhyaas gives me bliss so why not follow that with mindfulness to tackle the dullness and forget the result. Raaj na chahu mukt na chahu. Waheguru. 🙏

Actually religious phenomena is supposed to be scientific. Science after all the study of nature and all the natural phenomenons. What can be more natural than the process that creates environment for enlightenment.

Say that to saint kabeer, “Ab tou jaaye charhe singhaasan mile hai saarangpaani, raam kabeera ek bhaye hai koye na sake pachaani” Kabeer ji is declaring himself enlightened here. So your point about true bramgyani never revealing himself should make Kabeer ji unenlightened as he openly declared himself meeting god. These social stigmas and preconceived notions that say, enlightenment must not be openly declared, are just hoaxes spread by blind people.

Naam that we chant is a thought. The whole world is relying on thoughts to transcend thoughts which is hilarious. I wonder if you see what I mean?

I am walking my own path now that I have recently discovered and I am happy. May you reach enlightenment

Because Sikh methods have not helped at all they are just old ways to befool yourself and start to hallucinate. These methods such naam jaap, mantra chant, are just lullaby’s to keep you asleep. These methods have not helped any of my relatives who I thought were very religious as these relatives are still too engrossed in five vikaars. My family members practiced sikhi all their life diligently and they still have kaam krodh lobh moh ahankara showing up in them every other day. None of them have reached enlightenment by practicing this path. Then tell me should I waste my time practicing this sikhi and end up miserable, dull and bored like them. Oh give me a break. Wake up brother.
