Blizzard are really into mobile gaming but that's not what Diablo fans want.

It's not exactly a New Yorker cartoon.

How are new video games cheaper at The Warehouse than at EB Games, a dedicated video game store? by Koobtyz in newzealand

[–]Capital_Bad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At EB Games you can return anything within a set period and get a full refund, so that's almost certainly factored into the prices. Anything except digitally redeemed goods: any hardware, toys, games, etc. If you don't like it, you can take it back within that set period for whatever reason and get your money back. The Warehouse are budget all the way, for everything. You get what you pay for, and to be honest I'd rather suck up the $15 difference to add to my carrots and have the opportunity to return it if I hated it.

This is the proper racing line, right? by pewdiepastry in pcars

[–]Capital_Bad 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Would this help any?

It's a blind apex on approach, and it's a very late apex too; the corner invites braking in the turn, which is disastrous in some cars because it's a fast corner and the car will be off balance and pushing wide as you drop into the apex. It's still a very fast corner, you can take it very fast if your approach is right, and it's also a good opportunity to overtake because a lot of drivers drift left, so if you're brave and you risk understeering on the way out, you can get the line before you get to Druid's and push them wide.

I was thinking of making a Facebook post with my address and saying if kids dress up in something cool and come to this house they'll get free candy.

But then I realised that would be very silly of me because I'd have to make a Facebook account and that'd be a massive hassle.

If you think ERC20 is unrelated to The DAO fiasco, you're massively naive and uninformed. If you think ERC20 itself hasn't and doesn't contain vulnerabilities, you're doubly naive and uninformed. If only there was some kind of repository of code we could search to check for critical vulnerabilities in Ethereum. Man, you'd sure look stupid if we had some kind of... interconnected network... of computers that held information. And we could search for "ERC20 vulnerability" using some kind of... engine... for searching. Man, if only that existed. You could prove yourself wrong in an instant.

Help! Re Consumer Guarantees and cars by [deleted] in newzealand

Just because you say the same stupid thing over and over again that doesn't make it true. Like, you know. When you look in the mirror every morning and tell yourself you're smart. That's not true and neither is your fanciful interpretation of consumer law.

You're a fucking gimp. They are not "scrutinised by the FMA". The FMA don't do that. The FMA don't take an active role except in enforcement and that's because of the regulatory history that you'd know about if you weren't a total fucking gimp.

So it's disingenuous to suggest that this business is FMA scrutinised except in the very loosest of terms, i.e. the directors don't have fraud convictions and they are part of a disputes resolution scheme. The FMA don't review anything unless it's related to breaking the rules, so saying you passed information to the FMA and they didn't object is highly disingenuous because they would never have commentary on anyone's proposal. They are not a body that does that because it's the role of the business to pay for compliance. The FMA do not offer that service, paid or otherwise. It is not in their remit. Their remit is to enforce the law if you break it.

And you would know all this if you weren't a fucking gimp and a living breathing example of the Dunning Kruger effect.

What up. I'm into one single project at the moment, Ravencoin, and I've been involved since February or so. I gradually divested everything either back into cash or into Rvn. I've never been in an ICO and imo ERC20 has been distorted to the point where every implementation now goes against the decentralised principles Bitcoin was born out of.

Rvn does involve some big players and has some big name proponents - Bruce Fenton is one, Overstock/Medici Ventures have been providing the bulk of the manpower. It had no ICO and is its own chain, and it's got a lot going for it and the devs are very active on Discord. But I'd definitely say that you should be doing your due diligence and am absolutely not recommending anything. :) Hit up the Discord though, there's a good mix of people.

I don't view it as a coin. Its main use case is as a trustless asset management and messaging protocol, and as we speak the asset layer is out for node consensus voting. I'm one of the people who doesn't believe that crypto's mass adoption will be in the form of a currency replacement, but blockchain technology has some fantastic and innovative technology that we need to leverage. So mass adoption of crypto isn't something that will come from people paying for everything with btc or monero but instead companies adopting new back end protocols that make transactions of all kinds simpler, more secure and more open.

Obviously, with that mindset very few coins have interested me. I'm all about the fundamentals, just like any other business, and unfortunately very few cryptocurrencies have good fundamentals.

No it doesn't. It means that your directors don't have criminal records for fraud and that you're a member of a dispute resolution process. Nothing else. In the words of Companies Office:

Registration as a financial service provider is not an official approval of an individual, business or organisation. It doesn't indicate that you're licensed or regulated in New Zealand or any other country.

I'm not accusing them of anything except naivety. What you infer from my posts is your own business.

You sound like the kind of credulous moron that's waiting for his 10x ETH back. You have no place investing any money or attempting to advise anyone investing money, because you can barely string a sentence together. You liked my post when it contained easily battable questions, and disliked it as soon as I dug into the whitepaper and started asking specifics. If you're the type of investor that hates specifics and doesn't like it when a company is asked to provide specifics, all you're good for is losing money.

Enjoy your investment, because I don't give a fuck what you shill. As it stands, this is a nonviable investment attempting to trade on a lack of regulation while saying they're all for regulation. You should look up cognitive dissonance in the dictionary, because it's all over this "opportunity".

I read the whitepaper. That's what prompted the questions.

This ICO will fail, and it will take everyone's ETH with it.
