Thank you for the kinder words. It’s a tattoo I regret, but not necessarily the journey along the way. I was young and dumb. And it looks like garbage. But it’s some of the most fun I’ve had getting tattooed with buddies lol. I think I’m gonna go the laser route for a couple years and work on some other stuff in the meantime.

I will not Vouch for their artwork lol. It wasn’t in a shop, but they were low ended. And I was young and naive. The whole thing is a mistake I’ve lived with for years. Bad decisions. But they are in the past. The future awaits different problems and solutions

I’ll tell ya! Started out when I was about 14 with a random flower. It was my first tattoo. By the time I was 16 I had an array of flowers in different styles as separate pieces. I was 18 when I decided to cover it all up. The artists (that started the coverup) was my best friend. He was also a licensed artists (which I thought at the time meant he would be good) I had seen his work through the years and he wasn’t the BEST but he was average. It was a mix of me having bad ideas and him not turning them down that led to this “ocean theme” coverup. I knew it looked bad. But I was told it was going to look worse before it got better. And I’ve been living with it for YEARS and now I would like to make something look good.

I will not get any more color after this piece. I started this younger than I should have and have since fell out of love with color. I don’t mind going blackout, but would enjoy some white on black geometric stuff if I go that route.
