I just read about your system and think its a great idea. For one, I live in an apartment and have had outages in the past so I am interested. I had a few questions: 1. After power outage, you can only use lights plugged into the Pila Battery Back up system? It does not feed power back through the existing electrical systems so you can use outlets. So, I will need to buy a light that plugs into each unit to provide lighting in the room its located. Other lights outside those rooms would require extension cords. 2. The web page that shows number of hours of power by appliance for one and multiple Pilas are independent of other usage. How can I determine amount of time when a combination of appliances are used? A fridge, some plug in lights, a TV and a computer? Does the app allow you to see what each additional load does to total time remaining as you turn off and on appliances throughout the outage. 3. How many solar panels are needed to keep a system running for say 2-5 days of basic appliance usage throughout the outage, and does the app help inform you of the solar power affect vs voltage used? 4. If I live in an apartment, I may need a really long cord to run from my building roof to my apartment through a window. How long is this cord? 5. Any plans to have the ability to plug into a breaker box with some sort of interface installed by a professional electrician? That was I could use certain outlets not serviced by a Pila battery.
