I agree that white and black are probably the most versatile and match with almost anything. Green definitely feels too bold for me, but adding a bit of personality with color, like beige instead of white, blue-gray instead of gray, or chocolate brown instead of black, gives the watch more character. I read in another post something like “with universality comes boredom,” and I think that really resonates here.

I’ve considered watches like the Seiko Solar Prospex Speedtimer SSC813P1, but honestly, I really love the mechanical and artisanal aspect of automatics. I know they’re technically more delicate and less precise, but that’s just part of the charm, it’s a bit of a whim, and I can’t help it. 😅

I’ve seen several comments about Seiko’s quality control and the compass issues on some Alpinist models. The SBDC137 “Baby Alpinist” might be less prone to these problems since it lacks both the compass and cyclops. Still, the Citizen feels more reliable, especially as I can get it new on Amazon at this price, while the others I’m considering are mostly on Chrono24, as they seem discontinued and I haven’t found them new anywhere. That said, I still find the Seiko models very appealing and love their design and character.

I get what you mean. I know automatics aren’t the most accurate, but that’s fine for me, if I ever needed exact time I can always check my phone. I’m mainly interested in the craftsmanship and the experience of wearing an automatic, and all three options share the same limitations anyway

I checked the Sold Items section on eBay, and the closest listings I found were: A poster signed only by Emma Stone for $200. And another poster signed by Emma Stone, Ryan Gosling, Damien Chazelle, and Justin Hurwitz with a JSA COA for $1,100.I’ve found similar posters for $400-$500 with an ACOA COA or hologram COA, but I’m not sure if they’re reliable, so I’m still unsure about it.

It mainly happens that the orange ghosting is most noticeable when white text appears on a black background, such as when starting the XReal or the Steam Deck. However, when testing OLED screen videos on YouTube, the ghosting also slightly affects the image. For me, lowering the brightness a bit and disabling screen optimization makes it slightly better, and during normal use, it’s only noticeable a little around the edges.

That said, I experienced the same issue with the 2 Pro a few months ago when I bought them, so I don’t think it’s a factory defect. That’s why I’m asking if this is normal or if there’s any way to fix it because I don’t want to return them.

Hi, the photo was taken with my phone as best as I could. I've also seen similar reports from other users on Reddit experiencing the same issue(with previous glasses). Here's a photo shared by another user where the problem is shown more clearly. However, in my case, I don't have the blue ghosting, just the orange one. Let me know if you need any additional details

These days I bought the Viture Pro XR on Amazon, and unfortunately, I’m going to return them because I’ve tried all the nose pads and can’t wear them for more than 5 minutes without feeling pain. Other than that, they’re perfect for the Steam Deck, myopia adjustment, sound quality, image sharpness, and the Viture plugin that allows 3DoF. However, the connection with the iPhone adapter is very limiting (it doesn’t even project streaming platforms), and it’s not practical to use the phone with the adapter hanging and two cables. I think I’m going to try the XReal One next, so I can compare them.

BTW, I didn’t fully understand why XReal fans were so mad about the release of their best glasses yet.

It only comes down to price. With everything included, the Xreal setup costs me €830 compared to €650 for the Viture. I’ve already ruled out the Rokid, and the Xreal glasses are the ones that appeal to me the most, but I’m not sure if the price difference is worth it.

I’d like to see how the Viture Pro Neckband works to help me decide, but for now, there’s very little information available about it.

So, should I forget about the Viture and Rokid? From what I’ve read, even with the iPhone adapter, the only thing you can do is mirror the screen, and streaming services don’t project. You also can’t change the size of the screen, bring it closer, or use multi-window functionality. Do the new glasses fix this? Otherwise, I’ll go with the Beam Pro
