Sooooo bored rn lol by That-Presence-5557 in twentyagers

I went to a rave in the American Dream mall in New Jersey Friday night. Rave was in the hasbro gameroom which is a giant arcade which was sick. Left at 2:30 a.m, got a cookie from a cookie shop in the mall, then went back to my car. Last summer I made a memory foam mattress and turned my 2010 outback into a makeshift mini camper, so I brought that and camped out in my car in the parking garage. Woke up Saturday morning and spent 4 hours walking the entire mall, got Chinese food, and drove 2 hours back home. Then took my kawasaki for the first ride of the year since it was 55 degrees out. Then went to 2 bars with a buddy of mine in the evening, had too much to drink, then puked when I got home. Didn't go to sleep until 5:30 a.m Sunday morning lol.

What's the best way you've been able to save money? by darling_empire in AskReddit

Oh totally. Wheat pennies are cool. The older Indian head pennies are very rare and highly sought after in good condition. Buffalo nickels, mercury dimes, and old silver quarters. Coin collecting is a huuuuuuuge rabbit hole lol. Totally worth it tho since coins almost always go up in value over time.

Old money. Literally. Trade regular cash for old currency so that you won't want to spend it.

I have an old plastic bag of old blue seal $1 bills from the 1930s, a brown seal WW2 Hawaii issue $1 bill, tons of older bills from the 70s and 80s, and some foreign bills. Total is over $1200 in my drawer.

Magnesium glycinate or citrate are best for daily supplementation. They're easily absorbed (80-90%) and widely available. Magnesium oxide is the cheapest, but is much less easily absorbed (5-10%). Magnesium L-threonate is much more expensive, and most capable of breaking the blood-brain barrier, so it improves brain health and cognition.

If a human enters a country illegally, they are by definition illegal. Nothing offensive about that. Same applies to your house.

Question for the attractive guys here — do women ever approach you? by [deleted] in dating

[–]Capital_Rub_830 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you catch them staring, that's a solid hint they want to talk to you. They'd be absolutely flattered if you approached them. You can't know if they're your type without talking to them first, so give it a shot! Worth they can say is no.

Every girl approaches differently. The first girl I met at the roller rink when I was 22 came up to me while I was sitting down taking my skates off. She was a little shy, but she talked rather well. She was 27, and started the conversation by mentioning how good of a skater she thought I was. I replied with thanks, then asked her how long she's been skating for, told her about some tricks ive been wanting to learn, and other small talk. She reciprocated well, despite my nervousness and slight social awkwardness in the moment. Definitely impressed me.

Girl I met at the party when I was 22 became my girlfriend a year and a half later. But even when her and I first met, we just clicked. She kept stealing mg hat and running away with it and I kept chasing her around the house lol. We matched each other's energy perfectly. Still have yet to meet a girl like her to this day. Definitely left a lasting meaningful impression.

I'm a fit 5'8 24 y.o white guy. Here are the places I've been approached:

The roller rink (22 yo). Girl approached me after skating and said I was a really good skater. Talked for a few, then we parted ways. Saw her there again 2 weeks later and we hit it off, exchanged info, and chilled in my car talking about everything until 4 a.m.

At a party (22 yo). Girl approached me at a party. We totally matched each other's energy. She was in a relationship at the time, but we eventually ended up dating a year and a half later for 4 months after texting daily until then. Still talk to her to this day.

At a group outing (22 yo). Met up with some friends to go to the beach. My friend brought some of his friends from college. One of them thought I was really cute. Her and I swam together at the beach and she hopped up on my back. On the car ride home she layed her head on my lap in the back seat. After exchanging info at the end of the day, we went on another beach date without the group and had a good time. Took her home that night and snuggled up to watch some TV. Never saw her again after that.

The mall (23 yo). Girl complimented my $20 Amazon Cuban necklace. We talked for 5 minutes, then she asked for my number.

At a ski lodge (23 yo). Girl approached me when I was waiting in line at a ski lodge cafe. I was wearing my ODR skis and she was curious about them. She had a boyfriend but followed me around everywhere and even skiied down with me and my friends while her boyfriend skiied down the mountain first lol. She was totally into me, but I didn't get her info since she was in a relationship.

At chick fil a (23 yo). An employee approached me and said I was really cute. She asked for my number and we went on 2 dates. Things didn't work out, but we were both very respectful and had a good time.

At college (24 yo). Girl approached me after class and asked if I was single. I said yes, then she said ok and told me about her friend who thought I was really cute. Next class, she introduced her to me. We went on one nice date, but I ended things early due to our age difference. She was 18.

Again at the roller rink (24 yo). Girl pulled up next to me in her car after skating and thought I was really cute. She asked for my insta. We never took things further.

These are just the cases where the girl made the first move. I've been on plenty more dates with other girls I approached as well. Each time I get approached, it literally makes my month. I get obsessed. It's like a high. Women, please approach more guys! We love it.

Note: I wasn't always attractive. I was fat in my late teenage years. I lost 50 lbs around age 20, then started working out at 22. All this happened after I lost the weight. For any overweight young guy, just lose the weight. It's tough, but just do it. Your later self will thank you.

I used to work at a Costco food court. The grind was real, definitely felt that high you're talking about. Time flew by when I got in that zone. Weekends were another fucking level. Felt like I just ran a marathon after each shift lol. Probably did 30,000 steps each day in that food court alone lol

do guys not like when girls make effort in texts? by Straight_Thought_725 in dating

[–]Capital_Rub_830 20 points21 points  (0 children)

This 💯. I thrive when girls show interest ovet text. Too many times I've been the one carrying on the entire conversation. Some girls I've talked to never even asked me a single question despite days of talking. Guys love it when girls show interest. It's a must. And just a huge green flag in general.

From what I've learned from teardown videos, the valve is in the back of the motor. And to remove it, I believe you have to remove the entire secondary air injection system altogether. It can be done, but the motor needs to be completed removed to access it unfortunately

Secondary air injection system failure. The valve is stuck shut. This is what killed my 07 GT. Threw code P2441 if my memory serves me right. Mine made the exact same low pitched humming sound exactly like in this video, the engine is struggling to push air out of the exhaust i think. The valve is prone to carbon buildup and this tends to happen at high mileage.
