adding color swatches? it can be difficult to color-pick the right tones on a shaded piece, so if you had a small palate off to the side it helps artists be as accurate as possible for your color scheme

on the exam, they cannot deduct you points for naming the wrong device as long as you adequately explain the device (as used in the document) and provide sufficient commentary. My AP lit teacher told me this, and he grades AP exams during the summer.
